Information, help and guidance for using our library facilities is available here and the librarian can help with individual enquiries.
The LKC Library collection is searchable on the LKC Library catalogue.
In the library there is a dedicated library catalogue and self-issue PC, and you can also access the library catalogue off-site.
The library catalogue allows you to:
Monday - Sunday: 7.30am - 10.25pm
All students are able to borrow a maximum of 20 books (25 for those on postgraduate study), on a four week loan period. Books can be renewed as many times as required as long as they have not been requested by another library member.
Books can be renewed via the library catalogue, by email or by phoning the library.
The library has a self-issue system that you will be shown how to operate on your first visit to the library. Library members are responsible for the issue and return of their own library books and it is important that items are not removed from the library without having been issued first.
Students of Luther King Centre are entitled to use all library facilities for the duration of their course.
All students will be issued with a library membership card and reader code at the beginning of their studies.
If you are not a student or staff member of LKC you are able to join LKC library as an external member, please click here for further information about external membership options.
We offer an inter-library loan service for students who are unable to find resources they require in LKC library. We can borrow books and academic journals from other libraries in the UK (a charge will apply for this service, please contact the library for further information).
